Children who are less than 5 travel free of charge – you do not need to purchase a ticket for them. Please be aware that they will not have a seat reservation so may have to stand or sit on your knee if the train is busy. If you want to have a guaranteed seat for a child under 5 then you will need to purchase a child ticket and reserve a seat.
